State Senator Joseph Addabbo presented Jamie Longo, a teenager from Ridgewood, with a Senate Citation for her amazing work in packing and distributing feminine hygiene products to the women of the Redfern Houses in Far Rockaway.

“I was honored to present Jamie with a Senate Citation because she deserves to be recognized for her dedication to making the world a better place,” Addabbo said. “She has shown her selflessness and consideration for others over and over again, and this distribution event is no different. If we had more kids in the world like Jamie and her brother Jacob — who is an inspiration in his own right — we would be a lot better off as a society.”
