Dear Editor,

Words written in 1775 by one of the architects of America's democracy, Thomas Paine, hit home today, especially for first responders and healthcare workers.

"These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot, will in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country. But he that stands by it now deserves the love and respect of man and woman."

God bless you all. Stay strong and healthy.

Sincerely,

Richard Reif
