Elie Wiesel was a Holocaust survivor of four Nazi death camps, Nobel Peace Prize winner and a supporter of oppressed people all over the world. Here was a man whose writings tell mankind not to forget the millions who have died.
His spirit lives on in the hearts of all as an inspiration for humanity. Wiesel spoke out against anti-Semitism, hatred, bigotry, racism, and all forms of injustices. He had a voice and was not afraid to use it.
Now the whole world mourns for Elie Wiesel, a man of peace who wanted people to remember that hatred can not win and that persecution is unacceptable.
