THIS MUST BE A DISTRACTION REGARDING THE SODA BAN. DID AMERICANS DIE IN WARS, BECOME HANDICAPPED, AND MENTALLY SCARED FOR LIFE SO ALL AMERICANS CAN LIVE FREE, OR IS OUR FREEDOM BEING TAKEN AWAY FROM US UNCONSTITUTIONALLY?

 Maybe this Soda Ban is just a distraction to avoid what is more of a problem in New York City at this time. Just as a small example, I would be willing for one month to go under cover, purchase all the Meth, prescription pills, cocaine,heroine, hand guns and automatic weapons that are easily available throughout the City and place them on the Mayors desk to show you what is really significant vs 16 ounce sodas. 

I am sure the Mayors desk wouldn't hold all the Drugs and Guns I can buy. 

Would be some sight for the Press though!

What is more important for the Citizens of New York, and thier children, and peoples grandchildren, soda pop or drugs&guns?

I bet the Police Commissionwer would agree on this one! With such increased Violence, shootings, killings this year alone, what really is of importence here, Mayor Bloomberg?

Parents are ressponsible for educating their children on foods & beverages. Even the schools teach that. Is this what you want to be remembered for after all these years in office?

I don't think so!
